In fact, where are there two separate rotate options?? There's a
lossless rotate under the tools menu that requires way too many clicks,
and a lossy rotate under image --> transform that requires too many
clicks. There must be a bug filed about this already...

Okay, so to reaffirm my last statement and otherwise reinforce this bug,
I have upgraded with today's Gutsy changes, and the bug definitely still
occurs. I can also reaffirm here that it is associated with the blank
CD popup and use of the Ignore button. When I successfully got the CD

Same thing here I think. GIMP tried to update yesterday, but couldn't. Now
today when trying to update I got the
"Software index is broken" message saying,
"It is impossible to install or remove any software.

it is not fixed on my installation (gutsy - updated oct 4).
after login keyring asks for a password.
i give it and click on 'open this keyring each time i login'

connection or a problem in the server side.

Yes, good catch. I had a local copy of cairo, I was using for
development ages ago. I've removed it now and update-manager works
without crashing. Bug 149082 is sorted also due to the same problem, so
both can be closed.
