I have been using firefox (2.0.0.11) for several days and have not

Thanks to Jamie's help with font wrangling, this has been reproduced.
Additional upstream fixes have been tested now. This was actually a
pre-existing problem (bug 116236) that was uncovered due to the recent
memory allocation fixes. The updated packages are making their way
through the security
This update will likely be going in as a security fix -- this bug was
uncovered on all previous libcairo releases due to the recent memory
allocation fixes.

I changed the refresh from 85hz to 60hz. Opened totem in full screen and
it changes the refresh back to 85hz. I am using Gutsy with gstreamer
library.
