Before changing any About Me settings, the screen saver unlock dialog
has no image at all. When I choose No Image, a file called .face

I can't say for sure why, but I just got a new laptop (Lenovo Ideapad
Y510), and no longer have this problem. It connects to my WPA2 home
network every time without issue.

I tried that too, to no avail. I just double check what I did. Tried some
different possiblities like
ad\username which does not work at all ( prompts for password three times
and fails)
or ad/username also does not work at all (same as above)
logon and NTLM/SPA both receive the same error

Changing that key to gnome-vfs or gtk+ doesn't make a difference. At
which point do I obtain a backtrace? It's not like it crashes or
receives some form of signal or anything.

No iPod has OGG Support, it's firmware doesn't beleive in opensource
;-). But rhythmbox converts the transfrred OGGs into MP3s, but the
majority of the conversion result end up in a mute file inside the
ipod's database.
