File roller fails to extrac
I am seeing freezing while ripping cds using sound juicer with hardy.
The computer only seems to freeze when there are bad blocks on the cd.
When I have a freeze, currently playing music skips, the cd drive
appears to stop reading, and the hard drive light is on solid.

I think the behaviour should be that drives defined in fstab shouldn't
appear on the desktop (and nautilus bookmarks). This is how it works for
me in everything except Hardy. That way all the internal drives don't
clutter things up, but if you plug an external drive in it is easily
accessible.

It's only reproducible for me with compiz enabled in gutsy with metabox
borders. Without compiz getting the diagonal resize handle is easy. With

I have Ubuntu 7.10 updated to date. After rebooting I can repeat the
problem at will by doing numerous file transfers between a folder and it
sub-folders and after a while the problem re-occurs. I am transferring
mainly mp3 files during this exe
Sometimes the tooltip tooks even more than the screen width, leaving it
half hidden. btw, I also think that a tooltip is the wrong place to put
hints about UI features :)

The camera probably has a "mass storage mode". Try using that instead of

I'm using Hardy; when I open a nautilus folder, the icon that appears in
the titlebar and taskbar is a weird, scaled down one that looks out of
place. Please check in the attached screenshot how the file operation
