I can confirm in Hardy as well. But just on a freshly-installed 64-bit
system. Segfaults 100% of the time. :-( My 32-bit box (also Hardy)
continues to be fine.

acpi_listen shows that acpi is getting the events. However, gnome-power-
manager --verbose does not show gnome-power-manager handling the events.
Ugly as it is, I've worked around the problem by including commenting
out the CheckPolicy

HAVE_RANDR which actually we probably still need. Attached is a patch

I have seen this too, although I'm not positive that
it is evince's fault.
What seems to happen is that evince loads and uses
a small size, which is lined up with the right edge of the
desktop. It then loads the document, expands to fit it, and
this expansion pushes it off the screen.

Thanks for your bug, but we could use a little more information to
solving this one. Can you give us the results of the following command
on any one of the images:
gvfs-info ~/path/to/image.jpg
In particular, we're looking for the standard::content-type and
thumbnail::* keys.

I've updated my distribution and then rebooted as requested then i
inserted an audio cd in the cd-reader. This time soundjuicer didn't
start automatically but the error windows reappeared (with the same bug
report. Should i post a new (duplicate) bug?)

In my laptop with Hardy Heron, Nautilus don't show thumbnails for JPG
images, only for GIF or PNG. I have all the updates installed. Only when
i use the Eye of Gnome for view these images and refresh the nautilus
window the thumbnails appears. De

This appears to be fixed now from the package updates I did today
(3/3/08). Not sure what was the cause or the solution, but after the
package update I ran, I tried to click in the date/time/weather in the
panel and it worked again.

now a way to disable polling, customise the polling interval, and/or
reduce polling to a single daemon? If not, I believe the priority of
this bug should be increased from "low" as it definitely has a negative
