Binary package hint: gvfs
In gvfs 0.2.2svn20080331-0ubuntu1 on a recent amd64 Hardy install,
gvfsd-trash is triggering all of my NFS automounts. gvfsd-trash spawns
continuously, although the total number doesn't seem to grow beyond

I do, I think. I'm not sure if it's the same bug, but the initial
description the bug report gives me is. Ever since I upgraded to the
Hardy beta, I can't access any of the GNOME related appearance settings.
I have to use the failsafe GNOME log in to avoid having everything look
messed up, although
This is a long outstanding bug in evolution and/or evolution data
server. It's been around for atleast a year or two and nobody seems to
be looking into it. It is intermitent and almost impossible to
reproduce. As nobody else seems to be doing anything about it I thought

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #207693.
However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than
the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the
problem is in a dependent package.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Was trying to close out sound preferences because it froze on a test. It
caused Gnome panel to crash if I read the error correctly.

Yes! Exactly.
/apps/gnome-power-manager/actions/sleep_type_battery is set to 'nothing' whereas
/apps/gnome-power-manager/actions/sleep_type_ac 'suspend'.
This is very strange, and changing the first key to 'suspend' fixes this
bug for me.
Obviously, there's something wrong with the gconf schema.
Sorry, I didn't actually mean to hit that button (that set it as a bug
in gnome-power). I do believe that I'm experiencing this problem as
well, however. When on AC the computer will sleep after 2 minutes, but
on battery it never sleeps. Looking through gconf, I saw that /apps

Reproduction:
Right click gnome clock.
Choose "adjust time"
Choose "set system time"

Nothing happens.
What should have happened: a dialog to set the timezone, ntp, and so on.
See also bug 208958, but this seems to be different.
