Booting into old Feisty and Gutsy kernels, the camera detected prompt

I just had nautilus crash with SIGSEGV after opening the preferences
dialog and clicking on the permissions tab. I noticed this same bug
relates to permissions on a USB device. Mine was on a PCMCIA based
LS-120 drive. Here's the dmesg output:

When browsing a PDF with stored page numbers (see attachment for an
example) it is unclear what page has which page number: If you press
forward once, you see a page with (logical) page number 1, but in
brackets one can read the physical page numbe

I tried the "fix" listed in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dbus/+bug/207157 by creating
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/15dbus file. It seems to have fixed the problem,
however "use-session-dbus" is listed in /etc/X11/Xsession.options and I
don't know what if any conflict this will cause.

After some experimentation, I've found that this problem goes away if I
uncheck the global directory server for auto completion. Therefore, I'm
fairly certain that the problem is with the autocompletion for exchange
directories.

thanks for your attention on my problem. Meanwhile I setup the VMWare
player and was able to connect via XDMCP to the virtual machine.
The issue is going away and it looks like it was a problem between
Ubuntu and old XMing versions which can be fixed using XMing 6.9.0.31
