login window icon and it appeared minutes later. After that it seems

Confirmed for hardy heron beta. In addition, for me if drawer is closed upon
rechecking enable_animations panel just plain refuses to pop up. If drawer is
open when enable_animations is rechecked it works fine however (aside from the
delay bug linked below)

confirm 8.04 beta daily build 11 April, 2008.
Detected camera ok and imported photos. Crashes on exiting fspot.
This is an improvement over 7 April and earlier which would cause a hard
freeze on selecting the camera. No kb or mouse. Only a forced reboot

There is not much we can do here, so I am going out of SOP and setting

hmm.. this happened to me when i was importing an ical file into
evolution. it successfully imported after observations from the post-
crash. but hey it still crashed anyways.
the ical file was made using outport and outporting from outlook.

Another way to work around it: delete the temporary named pipe that SSH
uses to communicate with the authentication agent.
$ rm $SSH_AUTH_SOCK
Then SSH will work, prompting for a passphrase for your key... of
course, it won't actually be able to store any keys!
I still don't know what makes seah
could somebody comment upstream about that? there is just too much to do

Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work
