Similar here - Hardy on vmware machine. When pressing Quit it can take a
minute or so until the quit dialog appears, meanwhile everything is
stuck. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Backspace kills Gnome immediately and returns
to the logon screen. It looks random, couldn't recreate it, but happenes
at least 50%

A huge memory leak begins and it never actually displays the /home dir, just

Gnome-power-manager restores the brightness after replugging to a slightly
lower value than before unplugging. However, it is possible to increase the

I am running Hardy, and since the day I switched to Hardy, gdm crash on first
log in:
