notice the same
Ok ive pinpointed where its coming from ive had about 10 people test
this on all different nvidia/ati cards and the one thing that is common
to all of the crashes is the 8800 nvidia card using the nvidia-glx-new
drivers. There will be more info soon but we will still need those
backtraces to find

Hello, my DVD drive seems to have become faulty as it no longer reads
discs, so I changed my drive for a new one and the past couple of days
since its been in and the old one gone, I have not en counted this

Hello all, I had this same problem, the only thing I have to do is to
rename the xml file (///usr/share/gnome/help/blackjack/el/blackjack.xml)
and then I made a apt-get autoremove and everything starts to going
like a charm. I had a Ubuntu 7.10 server edition, with no X, then I
upgrade it to 8.04

At the moment I've only tried VLC. The slider moves, but no sound is
outputted. I'm not sure if it's using Pulseaudio though. I've installed
the extra pulseaudio tools so I can test the other programs out.

On further examination, it appears that this suspend/resume problem is
not in the hibernate layer, but probably in the gnome power management
layer on top of that. If I open a root shell in X windows and execute
/etc/apci/hibernate.sh directly, everything works fine. X Windows comes

Mikael: xterm is not a GNOME program, therefore I'm not surprised it
doesn't follow the GNOME font rendering settings. Gnome-terminal, on
the other hand, is and should.
