was happening ... and I think I know what's going on.
Nautilus is launching f-spot, this is configured in from
System->Preferences->File Management, then the "Media" tab. There is a
drop-down next to "Photos", which lets you cho

Since I preferred the default setup, where the Trash Icon was available
at the bottom right corner of the lower panel, here's what I did:
1. On an empty space at the Desktop, right-click and "Create Launcher...
for me it also suspends when idle+lid open on AC, (though it is set to "never")
i suspect that it might take the suspend timepoint from "on battery" value
anyway, this is very annoying when you want leave some 500MB download
(for example apt) and go away

fix this bug - not surprising, since the bug is in nautilus... :-)

I have an issue that gnome-system-monitor casues the CPU to 100% for a

In regards to the reported issue, what results did you get by trying

selecting Go->Trash from the window's menu.
I'm not sure if this works if Nautilus is in spatial mode, but in

Removing the summary files does not help. This is listed above
"importance- low", well like many others, email is the main reason I
use Ubuntu.

I removed the gutsy-proposed version again, since there was unclear
feedback, and the problem is not solved yet in intrepid and hardy.

Perhaps I can be more clear if I attach an example of desktop file that should
be opened in Firefox.
So I send you two attachments:
1) Ubuntu_BrainStorming.desktop --> file that open in Gedit instead Firefox
2) bnb_beginner_test.htm --> file that open correctly in Firefox

We have confirmed this same behavior regarding gnome-screensaver that is
described in this ticket.
When using uswsusp package for hibernate, and the default hardy suspend
process, coming back out of either suspend or hibernate *seems* to work

Clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 - fully updated as of May 16, 2008. I can

matter in the manner in which they have done.
