I have this problem with an oddly-sized GIF image (attached) - it's
supposed to have transparency under it, which gimp shows but display
(from ImageMagick) does not... indicating that it's got a height change

try to play it directly from Samba with Totem (supposedly by streaming

ext3 does of course permit case-sensitive renaming. It is possible on the

Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Everyday, for the first time I login in ubuntu, I works well. But when
I clicked the desk switcher to change to the second desk, the screen
will have no icons shown. Every time! So I log out and login again

I am having exactly the same problem as Stefan Metzger above. It has
only started doing this today. I am running straight Ubuntu Hardy
AMD64.
