I am able to reproduce the error. Also, tried the following:
1. put a sample .ogg file on a webserver and added that link as a radio
station. when i tried to play, i got the same error.
2. I tried to play these ogg files from movie player and got the same error in
the same dialog box like rhythm
Xorg should automatically create a new log file everytime it starts. The
old one is automaticallyed stored in /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old. So to
create a new log file, you will have to restart X. Either ctrl+alt+bksp
or logging out will work.

@Pedro, I backtraced my evolution, with gdb, when I closed it during
email download (unfortunally you will see "no debugging symbols found"
as I cannot install yelp-dbgsym as sayd in bug 255863) but you can see
that the program exits normally after I close it. The issue is related
to the fact that,

After the last yelp update ( 2.22.1-0ubuntu2.8.04.2 amd64) I cannot
install yelp-dbgsym as the only version available from repos is
2.22.1-0ubuntu2.8.04.1) and " apt-get install yelp-

note that you can uninstall evolution, evolution-data-server is only a
set of libraries used in different applications, the name might be
confusing but there is no real reason why an user would need to
uninstall those

When I install Ubuntu on my pc, I get an icon of my second harddrive on
my dektop. I would like to have a clean Desktop and the only way I can
think of to get the icon off my desktop is to use gconf-editor. There is
no other way ... This should be possible
