I had the same issue, it generated excessive interrupts and was frozen
from time to time, it even restarted sometimes. I tried the fix on
#296075 and it worked fine.
Fix: It turns out that disabling display dimming seems to fix these
problems. Even though the display is now set not to dim, it dims
Tested Hardy 8.04.1 - Both a fresh install and a fully patched system
still exhibit the issue. As mentioned before, Intrepid release (both
fresh install and patched) does not exhibit the issue. As always,

me too. The problem now is that Bogofilter does not seem to be filtering

implements Ubuntu's default power management policy, which
/deliberately/ does not use powernowd+cpufreq_userspace if a better
governor (ondemand) is available. So that init script would be a

my desktop would look at 400*300 px and had a hard time to find out how
to get back to 1440*900, because this configuration had rendered it

Compact view is great. When the scroll feature is fixed it'll be even

I too am experiencing this. It's quite annoying. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10
with all current updates. I have one 'exchange' email account and one
'imaps'. I've tried to kill "evolution" and restart, but it never
restarts. The only way I've figured out how to get evolution working

Hi Pedro, sorry for the late reply. Intrepid does not exhibit the
problem. I will do a quick install and update of Hardy on a spare
partition (same machine as before) and report if the problem still
exists in Hardy. If so, perhaps a backport might be in order?
