I can't currently try it on Jaunty because I've got Intrepid, though it doesn't
occur with Intrepid, simply because the Xscreensaver hacks mentioned (Substrate
and others) are not available. If I upgrade to Jaunty, I'll try again.

I deleted ~/.evolution/mail/local/folders.db* and 'viewed' each folder
in evolution to reindex (an error is shown on the first view since it is
reindexing... i think nothing to worry about). Everything seems to work

I agree that we want to avoid using scrollbars if there is an
alternative. Paul, our patch for Hardy modified the layout of the

Also, something not mentioned in other comments is that when gnome-
system-monitor closes, I see a new item in my taskbar that says

1) The ftp password is saved to seahorse.
2) The nautilus connection is ok.
3) Change the ftp password on server.
4) Try to connect with nautilus gvfsd-ftp (nautilus' bookmark), it won't

(vmware machine sitting in background), no apparent reason ( I was at

Thank you for improving Ubuntu.
I fixed the problem manualy and didn't do any re-install of the package ever
since so I didn't ran into that error again.

It still crashes at random. Tough a good way to trigger it is to paste a
longish word in the search field. It starts grinding the disk, and then

I can also reproduce this issue on ubuntu/jaunty alpha 9.04 on a Dell Laptop
1720 to ubuntu 8.04 on a Dell D800.
I get also the "Obex Push file transfer unsupported" message when I try to send
a file (compressed or no) using the Right click on file on say the Desktop-->
Send To--
