I routinely copy files from my external hard drive to my internal one. I
have my folders set to individual pictures, these pictures are within
the folders themselves. When I copy the whole folder over (including the

This is a bug. The problem is that whatever app has it locked is not
letting go.
If I plug in my camera, I cannot access it in any application. I do not
get the normal You have just inserted... prompt, and I cannot mount it
manually. This is not expected behavior.

Okay. Brasero can write to a mounted disk.
But the standard burner in Interprid could not.
That was not Brasero.

I tried to take a screenshot, but it seems that it's not possible to take one,
when having a right-mouse-button-menu activated.
The Option is spelled Verschieben des Panel erlauben or Position des Panel
sperren in german and is the fourth Option when right-clicking somewhere on
the panel.

This is just a work around. I changed /usr/share/gvfs/remote-volume-
monitors/ gphoto2.monitor to allow the device to be mounted.

It's a bug to my mind. It prevents me from browsing to the camera. Something
I have done regularly for years. Fortunately, it's easily fixed like this:
*sudo killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor*
