Just as the search filter has a cancel button, the browse filter

Sorry, forgot to add that I uninstalled Movie Player and completely
removed Movie Player (gstreamer), which is Totem, then reinstalled Totem

To hundred paper cuts:
I know this could be considered as a feature, but this patch works, and has no
problems. the only part to do is to dray icons. I've requested them also
upstream to gnome-icon-theme.
Also my request was forwarded to the breathe icon theme from the ubuntu
community.

The comments in the bug suggest that the update should be automatic so I
added this bug instead of creating a new one. I agree that the major point
is getting the thumbnail to work correctly is the main issue - and I must
add that it is a major pain point for me.
