If you remove FUSA, the shut down options go back into the System menu. I
think there's a way to get the dialog through the System menu in that case,

never mind. I had accidentally hit the maximize/unmaximize button on the
upper right of the screen. it took a bit of messing with the screen to
discover the problem.
As easily as the problem came, it departed. thanks for taking an interest
in my problem.

just installed the -j packages and all seems OK (get youtube, flash
audio playback now) even though I still get the following displayed when
I run from shell:
(npviewer.bin:29816): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x423 unexpectedly destroyed

This happened to me now for the first time. I've been using Ubuntu 9.04
Desktop during 3 weeks, shutting down the machine once or two times a

Why would you put the shortcut hint in the context menu when no other
items have it? It is already in the Edit menu (not everyone would go
looking for it though). I rarely use F2 because it is annoying on
Macbooks to press Fn+F2 - it breaks my workflow.
