session menu or the UPS battery menu.

I'd agree that this should be changed. I use Windows every day at work
and when I get home and start using Ubuntu find myself pressing:
Windows R - to run an application (which ends up zooming in the screen for some
reason)
Windows D - to minimise windows
Windows L - to lock applications
Then I would suggest (out of the scope of this bug) to reserve a key
combination (perhaps there already is one?) that takes you back to the
last X tty; this would eliminate the need for guessing the tty.

When I do right click - extract here on an archive file, the contents
are extracted, but the new created folder does not appear in nautilus
(or the desktop, if I extract there) until I do a folder reload.

Changing the number of bookmarks in displayed in Places meny of gnome-panel
requires changing the source-code of it as it is hard-coded. This cause lots of
troubles to less-experienced user.
A post in ubuntuforums.org explaining the way to
