I think I found my problem: There were some files that were supposed to
be on the network. They were mounted in my home directory using
pyNeighbourhood. I was using a backup program that was supposed to
backup files to that location. I think it tried to backup when the
backup computer was not mount

Something interesting happened today,
I booted my Desktop machine while my nas box (Unicorn-NAS) was off...
I opened up nautilus and Unicorn-NAS was listed as an option, when I clicked on
it I got the same error message as before:

to slow down, and even stopping the mouse does not prevent the crash.

All the POP3 Accounts are from hotmail (office live). They are based on my own
domains and TLDs. My gmail accounts are set up with IMAP and have no problem
with them. Evolution randomly forgets passwords for only those POP3 accounts.

bugs that were already fixed. It could be a bug in the patch that solved
GNOME Bug #536292, I'll ask in that bug report for more information.

I can't confirm this behaviour.
Could you attach the output of the command 'devkit-disks --monitor-detail'? The
commands monitors the disk activity and should be executed before you try to
eject the disk. When you've tried often enough you can exit the monitor with
Ctrl+C.
