I confirm this bug on Jaunty too. Very boring.
As Sebastien Bacher said, un-checking the "GNOME Login Sound" in Startup
Application" or removing the line seems to work until you reopen the window and
see that the line is back.
I think this "GNOME Login Sound" setting should be placed in the Sound

Also exists in F-Spot facebook uploader. This is a common issue for all
uploaders to cloud-based internet picture sites by the look of it.

gnome-stracciatella-session (i.e. no notify-osd), brightness control keys do
not work.

I am refer when you add count with wrong id. You have to remove this
count and add new one with correct id to connect correctly. You can not
edit user settings and connect to server. You can test it. try to create
a wrong count and try to edit manually to connect to the server.

with what program you configure your network card? "Network tools"
doesn't mean anything here, they are a set of tools to carry out
technical tests like ping, traceroute... Nothing that sets up your
network connection.
