OK, it seems that the volume and bluetooth indicators in Lucid now
appear in the indicator applet, not in the notification area applet.
This is a pain because (a) the network etc indicators appear in the
notification area, so now you need both the notification area and the
indicator applet, and (b)
It may be relevant that instead of the volume control applet I now get a
keyboard indicator applet that I can't get rid of in the notification
area. (I didn't notice it at first because it writes the keyboard layout
in black text over black background.)

Technically, it's not a problem with having to login twice: I just found
that if you enter an incorrect password on the first attempt, gdm still
crashes and restarts. The second time though it starts up OK.

I have to say I'm flabbergasted. I'd though remote login has always
been considered one of the fundamental capabilities of X11. I'm
astounded that anyone would consider it optional.
That enabling an XDCMP server requires editing a config file is a minor

The 2.29.2-0ubuntu9 version of gnome-power-manager seems to work
slightly better. The icon doesn't appear as a filling/emptying battery,
but the pull-down menu seems to work again.

I don't know what you mean by 'combo box', but when I try to reproduce
this GIMP successfully loads the level values. No name for this appears
in the drop-down menu next to the load file widget; is that what you

I'm trying to help you by asking you to send it to the people writing
the software. The desktop team already has a significant amount of work
to do, and this isn't a priority issue. Your best chance of having it
fixed is to report it upstream first.

IMHO, this bug can be closed. I've just updated epiphany and cannot
reproduce this bug anymore. (Edit -> Actions -> *Crash*)
And it was fixed/missing in development version as early as 5-6 feb, the
day I checked out an compiled an epiphany from sources.

Unmounting a device I get the prompt to empty the trash. When I do that
I get the usual "File Operations" dialog. It has the word "Preparing" in
it twice, in two font sizes. I'm not sure I really need to know this
