With the update of various games in gnome-games to use Clutter, they are
much more visually appealing, animated and exciting feeling. When sounds
are enabled, they seem to synchronize better with what is happening and
add life to the scene. (T
I guess you've isolated the issue to the Intel driver then? Maybe you're
running Compiz and it's interfering with Xv (not unheard of). Try
disabling Desktop Effects and see if it helps. Another possible
workaround: go into gstreamer-properties and change your video to
X11/ximagesink.

When I killed gnome-settings-daemon, the volume Fn keys don't work

icons would not have to be redone, but also have a dark panel for the
gdm similar to how there was a dark panel in Karmic.
