It probably should, since a user may push to the key server, realise
they made a mistake generating their key, delete it, and generate

Based on LanoxxthShaddow's comment, I don't have .gnome2/session in my
system either. I did delete the entire .gnome2 directory to fix some
issues I was having with an unsuccessful upgrade, so maybe it is

The radio button option is just an easier workaround. Than using the
command line to edit the login appearance. Its still not a proper login
dialog box like what was available pre 9.10.
At least it will satisfy corporate requirements, even if it looks a bit

After an upgrade to beta, GDM no longer has an option for GNOME despite
GNOME being installed. Using gdm, I can select only KDE or Xterm. If I
want to use gnome, I need to choose xterm and run gnome-session and
metacity manually.

bug 533870. Are you using a 64 bits version of Ubuntu? If so, then
please try the package from comment #30 on that report, and tell me

changing the setting doesn't mean the bug is not going to be worked but
let's realistic lucid will be stable next month and this bug is standing
for over a year and will require work over the integration work done by
a distribution

What version are you using? Since 2.29, users-admin simply runs 'adduser
$LOGIN --disabled-password', so everything that happens after that is a
problem with adduser and adduser.conf. Profiles are a different matter,
and by default only add membership to special groups like video, admin,
etc.
