Shortcuts still doesn't work properly. I'm using Ubuntu Lucid with
Mongolian Keyboard. Therefore, Korean keyboard layout is also not
working.
As I'm experiencing around 1/2 of all shortcuts including Ubuntu default
shortcuts and most 3rd party softwares' keyboard shortcuts such as VLC,
Net
It seems that the same problem still exists in gedit 2.30.3.

(0.4.14-1ubuntu2). The issue can be fixed by setting
/apps/maximus/no_maximize to true in gconf-editor. I propose this should

with no luck. gnome-control-center related packages are all newest, and
the bug comes just a few days ago.

2.30.3-0ubuntu2. DVI files are not drawn correctly after scrolling up or
down. More precisely, the page separators seem to be draw an wrong

problem. Everything went well on the install. No dual boot anymore w/winXP?
Perhaps that was the problem. fglrx is/can be very toxic.

Update: The workaround above causes some issues with audio becoming
choppy. I have experienced this before with audio in wine, so it may be
a similar problem. (I am willing to bet using 1000hz and preemption
would fix this, but that is not exactly a solution).

This occurs for me on 10.04 using the same VIA VT1708S. The workaround

"screenshot.godaddy.png" on my desktop and by click-dragging to copy it,
I ended up with "screenshot (copy).godaddy.png". Note the first dot in
the file name. On the other hand, I'd rather have Nautilus behave this

Yes, I am now using Evolution on 10.04 Lucid and it still has the same
problem (see attachment). I should also note that I did a clean install
of Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid and it was not an upgrade this time. I no longer
have Gnome installed so I cannot tell you if the icons are okay when
running Gnome

Is your ppa still active? I tried to add it to another computer
today and I get this message:

Tried this and seemed to work. But I had to update a few packages
manually in Synaptic. You can find them by searching for packages marked
with a gray status icon with an exclamation mark on it.
