client, and Lucid host) but cannot reproduce this bug.

This doesn't sound like a bug in gnome-terminal - it is the SSH process
that is "hung" (since it can no longer reach the server after the VPN
has been disconnected). You should try closing the connection by using
the SSH escape character, tilde, followed by a period i.e. after the VPN
is disconnect

I tried to reproduce this issue here with 2.30.3-0ubuntu1.1 and works
fine for me, please could you upgrade your evince version to the latest
included in Ubuntu Lucid and check if this problem is still affecting

Hi,
Currently I have no more errors. After installing Ubuntu Maverick, an error
occurred with the 'plymouth' but after the upgrade packages, it is
gone. Messenger
Empathy was removed immediately after installing Ubuntu.
