Here is my xrandr output. X incorrectly detects my LVDS display maximum
as 1360x768.

Actually, even the gconf-editor steps did not help. I tried disabling
most all the other gconf checkboxes, to no avail.
Also tried Broadcast Preferences in System -> Settings, no effect.

I've tried to gather a backtrace of 'gvfsd' - there were several
processes named gvfs* running.
Unfortunately, while trying to reproduce the bug, the copy dialog froze
at the end of the copy, and I couldn't finish the backtracing because of
gdb not responding to CTRL+C, or any other command, for t

still there, and I can copy stuff to disk for a while before it realizes
the disk is not there. When it realizes the disk is no longer available,

Thanks! The logs show that both 1280x800 and 1360x768 are detected as
valid modes, and the X server chooses 1280x800 as the preferred mode,
which also works fine. However, gnome-settings-daemon (if
turn_on_external_monitors_at_startup is true) forces the 1360x786 mode
which does not work.

I still have this problem in Ubuntu 10.04, Evolution 2.28.3. The only
way I can collapse/expand threads is "Shift--" and "Shift-+". This is
pretty useless for quick navigation.

Thank you for reporting this bug. This bug is confirmed in Maverick
Meerkat. My User 1 is the first profile created when installing Maverick
native. In User 1 primary click System -> Preferences -> Power
Management -> one may place the screen brightness as far down as
possible. Then I created a Use

duplicate of bug #650740, so is being marked as such. Please loo
this is clearly a regression. we use alt+printscreen for ages ... in
lucid it worked.
Did anyone find out what was changed this cycle to cause this
regression?
