results in the idle watch timer not being reset, it has not fully fixed

I apologize for reporting on such an old bug, but I too am having this
problem. Until after an update a few days ago, gnome-terminal would
always remember the custom size without having to use any command line
options. Now however it defaults to the bottom-left corner of the
screen at a resolutio

Ah, I figured out the issue didn't occur after removing the
~/.config/Empathy/geometry.ini file.
Apparently, to trigger it, you need to reduce the vertical size of the
chat window (once) and then try to reproduce the steps above.

I have discovered that the behavior of this bug is slightly different
than I wrote in the description. This I realized after messing around
with nautilus' settings just a few minutes ago.
The file size limit IS respected after all. The problem is the _wording_
of the setting in the preferences dia

1) open a chat window
2) move it to the very bottom of the screen
3) close the chat window
4) re-open the chat window

Not a true bug, but still annoying. While the new Evolution in Ubuntu
10.10 mostly fits small netbook screens, the preferences window, as well
as any it creates, still don't fit, often leaving important options or
buttons below the viewing area

It is strange that .gtk-bookmarks is not in your home folder and you are still
seeing Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. in the "Places" menu.
The ~/.gtk-bookmarks file actually stores the nautilus bookmarks, which show up
in the "Places" menu.
One thing that you might want to try is:

Putting current song in Pause State, closing rhythmbox from the x on
right-upper corner and searching for process:
