Actually,
I had a nightmare with ubuntu 10.10, the CPU gets extremely very hot,
and that without any computational effort, just web surfing cause the
cpu to get at 80 C , while it is critical at 90 C.

I almost erased my 750gb external hard drive because of this bug. There

Strangely the problem disappeared for me. The theme was correctly
applied after the last 4 boots. I can't tell you what changed though. I
didn't attempt any of the above suggestions and just did daily updates.

unfortunately the workaround you suggested has already been reported
many times, and turns out it does not work for everyone. I believe it is
more likely to be an Empathy bug, because if I recall correctly there
are several closed-source commercial products that implement the
facebook ch

I use the dust theme. When I click “maximize” in evolution or kmymoney,
it just removes the window border, but it does not resize the window. It
looks like a maximized windows, but it is not one. I guess this has to
do with metacity.

Of course I realized about 2 minutes after submitting that the string
returned from g_file_get_basename() must be freed after use with g_free.
This patch should be used in place of the previously submitted patch.
