Sorry for the delay. Boy, that was easy. I did the following:
Started the two processes in the two consoles, per the directions.
mkdir /newdir
Selected the "administ" account
Pressed the [Advanced Settings] button
Selected the "Advanced" tab
Change the home directory from "/lhome/administ" to "/
I tested the maverick-proposed and confirm that the work week features
all work now.
But if I switch to work week view, then set Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri as work days
and then change the beginning of the week very fast (with the mouse
wheel) then evolution crashes with a segfault! I don't know yet if this

Oh, I tried putting this in a file at /etc/pm/config.d/suspend:

on the suspicion that the wireless driver was causing the problem.

When I access my BSD file server at home via SMB, it mounts in Nautilus.

I just removed GDM in favour of LXDM on my laptop and suddenly it's
showing this issue. This bug is not solved if you are using a different
login manager like LXDM. AFAIK, GDM and KDM work around this 'bug'. No
idea about WDM or other login managers.

I've successfully built a version of brasero based on the current ubuntu
sources (apt-get source brasero). After applying the mentioned [2] patch, the

In Lucid (i386) everything worked. After clean install of maverick
(amd686) same thing occur. File roller not showing complete content of
archive, on double-click he first temporary extract content of first
part (somewhere on HDD) and after extract command he report CRC error.

J'ai installé il y a quelques jours UBUNTU 10.10 en remplacement de VISTA. J'ai
configuré avec succès la messagerie d'Evolution. Tout fonctionnait bien pendant
quelques jours. Mais depuis tous les messages reçus ont disparus, ceux env

That's weird, I really thought I had symbols installed, let me try
running through the process again. Ok prior to running it, I went to the

I get 'general error' dialog when I try to generate a key without a
password. It works when I do use a password but takes a very long time.

I dont know what happened, i just tried to open my archieves and than the
rhythmbox was automatically opened. i cannot accesse my documents, unless i
open it through another directory, like using a pen drive, for example.
i did already restart
