same problem with HP OfficeJet 8500 Pro (Evince & Openoffice).
Under OpenOffice I’m able to set Duplex (Long Edge), if I set Paper-
Format to "A4 AutoDuplex". Sadly it has no effect on printing: Simplex-
Mode is used in any case. My workaround is to create a PDF and use hp-
