I think i came a cross the same bug.
Panel on left or right edge doesn't unhide on mouseover if compiz is running.
It does unhide if auto_hide_size is greater than 2 and mouse is positioned
somewhere between one pixel and auto_hide_size -1 from the edge.
Unhide works on top/bottom panels.
I need the 2 things, playing and server. But for using the server I already
have the workaround to launch coherence with python2.6.
But for ryhthmbox I cannot do it as it's a plugin.
Amarok is a KDE application, I don't use them :) And for Banshee, first thing I

A bit of additional information. Here are what the pseudofiles in
/proc/acpi/battery/BAT0 look like. As far as I can tell, the only way to
tell the difference between the case where the battery is fully charged,
and the case where it is not being charged, is from the remaining
capacity
Marking Ubuntu task as Won't Fix based on upstream's response that
there isn't time to implement this. If someone is able, I suggest
working with upstream and getting the bug fix there, after which Ubuntu
will get the fix via our normal development process. Thanks!
