Doesn't reconnect automatically after suspend and resume

The xchat-gnome network manager plugin is supposed to disconnect and
reconnect automatically when the network goes away, but if I suspend and
resume my laptop, it doesn't reconnect.
This is because network-manager is sending two NM_STATE_DISCONNECTED
events when suspending, a
So it looks like the bug is isolated to folks that are updating to 11.10.

Found it. Just a straight up bug in gnome-power-manager, it seems.
I've got the lucid debdiff here. Will test and see which other releases
are affected. I will also shortly upload this to lucid-proposed.

--debug, get the issue and copy the log to the bug?

Kate had 2 issues there:
- the gnome-settings-daemon segfaults which is a known issue and is being
tracked
- compiz with refused to switch between the open applications until restarted
in the same session which got the issue
Since the g-s-d issue has a bug, recycling this one for the compiz issu
