Nevermind, I had set the exported the variable UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0 trying
to disable the menus following something I had found online. It turns
out that was wrong. If you want to disable the global menus you need to
unset that variable completely. It is odd that if the appmenu is

Dropping the apport hook was meant for precise, apparently you uploaded

The first song starts normally, then the time marker speeds up and says
the song has changed when it hasn't. It eventually tries to catch up and

I uninstalled the appmenu because I use the fallback session and noticed
that the appmenu was still there hidden under the gnome-panel. I also

Sorry for this, the problem was that Nautilus could not find Qt. Simple
env variable export solved it.

I notice this is still unanswered. I still think its a bug - a lot of fiddling
about seems to indicate that Brasero refuses to burn filenames which include
"%20". This may be a superficial conclusion & I can't be bothered to see if its
the inclusion of any "%" character that causes the crash, bu
deleted the above file. can now open up trash - nautilus appears. fixed
without restart.
