was also kind enough to educate me that specifying the password on the
cli will always make it show up in the task list and is not a valid test

I'm normally more of a KDE user (and I went back to KDE because of this
error, among other issues and dislikes I have with Gnome).
However I've been back to Gnome for testing this issue, and have to say
that since latest updates, I've been unable to reproduce the Gnome crash
at system wake up.
The plugin has some error in the subtitle saving function. I tried to
fix it, and it seems to be working, though it may need some work by
someone who knows what they're doing (and the Gio API). :-P

For users without much experience, this is a real problem. I'm
transitioning my wife from Mac OS to ubuntu, and she will likely

On the Version 2 of gedit you could manage multiple lines with the multi
edit plugin, now that it is part of the default packages in Gedit 3, it
is not working with the default keybindings and there is no way to find
out which are the new ones ( or maybe the plugin is not

After this update, Files entry is shown twice in Applications lens and in
GNOME menu.
Atm the link seems better then having to continually advise many upgraders to
edit ~/...mimeapps.list
If the duped Files is an issue then maybe just add a 'real' nautilus-

Looking at gedit(3.2) code, it should have the send_sync function:

Maybe Gedit.py is not being loaded or something. Does anyone know if
there is a separate bug in the gnome project for this?

I'm testing evolution on oneiric to see if I can upgrade from maverick.
After the installation I unistalled thunderbird and installed Evolution.
Yet now the mail icon in Unity menu bar merely contains the status
entries, chat, microblogging, Ubuntu One and a reset entry. I
