I fixed the problem to persist the LED status after S3 in the driver, but I
still have no idea how to let user space application access the sysfs without
root privilege.
And I don't think it's suitable to change the file mode to 0666, for I can't
find any file with that mode in sysfs.

When the Evolution Alarm notification window pops up to indicate I have an
appointment in my Google calendar in 10 minutes, I then get an authentication
dialog every 30 secs or minute until I kill the evolution-al

"Open a new window" is a static quicklist (so, it's there even if

Totem reliably crashes when using "remote control" feauture. To
reproduce:
1) Start totem with a video. Wait until in opens up and starts playing.
2) Switch to another terminal and issue totem --pause.
The second instance outputs:
% totem --pause
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.

from the context-sensitive (right-click) menu for a process, I get a
permission denied error when I attempt to change the "nice" level of a
running process. The only way I can do it is if I open a terminal

the time you list is probably not on a cold start and listing the
content is different from searching which gets extra infos out of the
filenames, but right as said search in nautilus is known to be
suboptimal and could for sure use improvements

Sorry, I really think this is a bug.
Searching 1177 titles should take less than 1 second, even reading them
off disk. It's not wishlist to say that 10+ seconds is too slow.
ls can read the directory contents in 0.033s. If you're telling me that
it waits to display items until it has also scanned
