reminiscing to some Amiga tracks from Oakvalleys collection and the Hud
kept popping up when tracks are playing (thought I was leaning on the
keyboard for a while).

Probably not. Omer knows when it's a Unity bug of not (he's a Unity
community hacker). You said it effects both Unity and GNOME Shell, so

Eye of Gnome 3.4.1 crashes when a navigation key like the arrow-key or
enter is pressed continuously. Pressing the keys with high frequency
works fine, but when holding the key pressed, eog shows 3-5 images and
than disappears form the screen.

I had the same error running mailx. Executed "apt-get install gnome-
keyring", and all is well again for me. Looks like it may simply be a
missing dependency.

not sure, but the description looks like the bug is rather on the xorg
input side or utouch than nautilus

Hi,
The information here doesn't yet rule out it being something other than
a toolchain issue (this type of crash can be caused by overwriting the
GOT). Whilst I set up an i386 environment to debug this in, could
someone please try running gnome-settings-daemon in valgrind and
recreate the issue t
It is very prominent with Nautilus and I haven't noticed this problem in
other programs (GTK and other).
That said, the touchscreen in 12.04 is in general less reliable than in the
previous version of Ubuntu. Symptoms are:
