Apologies for the late response on this, but, might it be possible that
you have your images filtered somehow by date? I ask because we're

bad interaction of ext4 error log vs disk health dialog/gnome-disk-

A dialog pops up saying "a hard disk is reporting health problems" and the
"examine" button pops up gnome-disk-utility.
The smart status of all disks shows as OK.
I suspect it's getting the bad vibes from this kernel log message:
