I believe I'm having the same problem on Ubuntu Quantal. While trying to
rip a DVD image, Brasero fails with the error message, "Error while
retrieving a key used for encryption." I am able to rip the same disc
just fine using dd if=/dev/sr0, so I know it's not a problem with my
drive.

install blueman) and then used it to send a file. This worked, and
afterwards gnome-bluetooth manager was also able to send files. So
gnome-bluetooth manager must be missing some important setup step.

dick - without graphics nothing will kick in:
1) add $HOME/bin to PATH (/etc/environment)
2) make script bazbaz.sh and make it executable
