Wouldn't it be easier to implement cifs in a way similar to pyNeighbourhood ?

rob, how much smaller than the viewport were you thinking the image
could be reduced? With eog, it will reduce to 1% of normal size, which
for a moderately-sized image is wa-aay too small to be useful. How far
down do you think you would want to reduce an image?

I am affected by this bug. I have been using kdialog for the purpose of
a short notice, for this reason, which is sort of a shame, since kdialog

I have the same kind of similar problem, except I'm able to send stuff
from the computer to my android device, but not browse or send anything
back.
If I attempt to send anything over to Ubuntu from my android device,
Ubuntu starts freezing up for a minute or two, becoming unresponsive to

I agree, this is a HUGE usability regression. What is the point in having
alt+up to do this while the backspace button stays unused.
Also, not many are used to alt+up. This is very irritating for everybody,
because I got used to this in Ubuntu, so I am not coming from windows
environment.

Was due to oldish settings (empty file) into
.local/share/applications/desktop
conflicting with the now used /usr/share/applications/desktop
Purging these empty .desktop files inside .local/share/ have stopped
these errors.
