I've tried recreating this bug with 12.10 and was unable to, given the

Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=iso_a4_210x297mm sides=one-sided
in CUPS the mirror image is disabled.
yet: ever since one of the last system update
gksudo gnome-control-center shows the mirror image option to be turned
off, turning it on and off again as root does not change anything.
starting gnome-control-center in user mode still defaults to mirror
image and flips back to "on" on any attempt to switch it off.

on my computer. I've been running Xubuntu 13.04 since April. It just now
started to ask me for a keyring password.
It says (and apologies - I shall have to report the precise message at
