udisksctl mount --block-device /dev/sdc1
udisks --mount /dev/sdc1
and was able to mount my drive manually.
If I insert my android phone this does mount automatically.

If that's an upstream decision, it is a WRONG one and a bug should be filed
upstream, and watched from here.
Either that or nautilus must definitely be replaced in Ubuntu with a decent
file browser, which wouldn't be a bad idea given what it has become lately
(consider for e
good luck finding another OS, any other linux distribution is going to
have that nautilus issue, since it's coming from GNOME, other OSes are
also likely to do minor changes like that one

I hope you'll make the proper fix, because as they say "there is nothing more
permanent than temporary" :) several issues remain, its true, and still the
most scary are
- setting CapsLock in Keyboard / Shortcuts / [any group] / [any action]

Alright, I've taken the patch from upstream and I'm building a package
now.
There's currently a gnome-control-center under testing for a stable
update to 13.10 so I'd rather not clash with that. Once that clears
through testing we can do another round to include this fix. Keep

Folder names in Location area keeps the width even though when I go back to
upper folder.
First of all this new downgraded nautilus folder section holds its width and I
cannot even change the width at all.

Hi Seb, my video driver is intel (xserver-xorg-video-intel), and this
problem might be related to bug 1239186. I'm not sure though.
The weird thing is that the displays reset whenever I access any of the
ubuntu settings, so maybe it's a bug in my driver combined with some odd
behavior in gnome set
I will try to search to gnome bugs first but if I remeber right, this
bug was there in gnome 3.8 and fixed in 3.10.
