They will have to do it the "windows" way or use a command line. Some of

The whole purpose of GNOME Software is the ability to install only
applications; packages with .desktop files. If you are experienced
enough with other kind of packages; CLI, libraries, development or
kernel, you should be comfortable using a terminal.

And still fixed on Wily. I think Ubuntu has pulled in the upstream fix
and there's nothing more to change now.

I think that the language-selector-gnome must have caused some confusion
somewhere because I have run some more test in VMs where simply removing
that (no need to remove im-config though) will make "Japanese (Anthy)"

I have Nexus 4 with latest radio, yesterday I flashed the phone with bq-

consider it not working. I'm very much interested in knowing if anyone

I agree with Dmitry.
Actually, Nikita, it's still not clear to me *why* you didn't find
"Japanese (Anthy)" initially. Based on my own tests, the changes we have
now uploaded (or are about to upload) shouldn't make a difference in
that respect. I had no problem on a fresh Ubuntu GNOME 16.04

I don't think it's worth it. 16.04 will be an LTS release and 15.10
support ends in summer so all 15.10 users are very much recommended to
upgrade to 16.04 anyway.
This needs fixes in some different places so it's not that easy to
backport it.
