There were critical notes kept using stickynotes. Everything was gone today.
I searched the net to find out if I was using some sort of defective choice in
note-keeping software when I came across this post, "ALL STICKY NOTES ARE
ERASED WHEN OUT OF DISK SPACE".
Ouch.

On up to date Yakkety if I specify my Netgear router as the DNS server (via
Network Manager) then DNS lookup takes about 30 seconds. I see the delay when I
run, for example,
systemd-resolve www.google.com
or
wget www.google.com
I do not see the same delay if I run
nslookup

The thing is, I do actually need colour profiles because I calibrate my
monitors, and Shotwell does actually display correctly. So removing the
profiles isn't an option for me, and if I want to quickly preview an
image or look through photos, eog is just a bit

Just upgraded one of my machines to Xubuntu 16.04 and encountered this
bug. The info in post #29 solved it for me but I will be waiting for an
official fix before upgrading my other machine. Inconceivable that this
is unassigned after 18 months.

Well, I downloaded the necessary libraries for yakkety and recompiled
the gnome-software with packagekit support, but i got the same result as
before.
I found that if you have uncontrolled or unstable network connection,
