Title:
Ctrl- key mappings broken for anything but first keyboard layout in
GTK application
Public bug reported:
Since the kernel upgrade from 4.4 to 4.8 in yakkety, systemd's
TEST-08-ISSUE-2730 upstream test now consistently fails with:

-nographic -kernel /boot/vmlinuz-4.8.0-14-generic -drive
format=raw,c
I don't know how it works, but couldn't it load icons from the app names
like launchers do?

Technically why this happens is gnome-software asks snapd to remove the

prompts gnome-software for authorization. The only method of getting
authorization is to call 'snap login' which prompts for store
credentials.
