simple uninstall with pacman -Rcsn. I know this isn't the same command for
ubuntu but just use apt-get autoremove and make sure to add the option that
also removes all configuration files. Some times some files are

or Kb3 etc)
If you choose "DO NOTHING" then it cannot detect the empty cd - dvd.

Wow, this bugginess is still around in 16.04. Today after a minor
upgrade this offer to change folders came up. I initially declined the
offer but when it persisted I accepted and my Download folder with 13 GB
of data disappeared - poof - and was replaced with an empty Download
folder.
