as I upgraded to the 17.04 I noticed that searching network shared takes
way too long comparing to the previous gvfs-backends versions (up to
ubuntu 16.10). It takes now approximately 10-15 seconds to find
computers on the local net, 10-15 seconds to browse shares on a specifi

necessary.
Yes, porting debconf's GTK backend to GTK3 would be nice since very
little of the default Debian GNOME and Ubuntu desktops actually use GTK2
now.

I tried installing some old libraries and binaries from Yakkety but even
with that I couldn't reproduce it in Ubuntu 17.04. I don't have any more
Yakkety systems to test on. I also can't reproduce it in 16.04.2 LTS in
Windows 10. I don't think any DOSBox changes could have changed this
either. So I

GUI SUPPORT.

Thanks to Seth Arnold for his advices to use the 'perf' or 'auditd'
tools.
Inside the above provided '/var/log/audit/audit.log', I do NOT find the
'umask' string.
So, I prefer to begin installing and using the 'perf' tool :
