I'm running Ubuntu 17.04. I changed to Gnome classic in the login
screen, then logged in, logged out and chose regular Gnome, but I keep
logging in Gnome classic every time. A workaround is to run "gnome-shell
--mode=user -r" after every login.

Have some problem and --xv switch not worked. It said: "Unknown option --xv"

Thanks Tom, I agree that loosing the hidden-shells seems to be a regression.
And to make the state more clear that this in the current state is considered a
an issue of accountservice or lightdm lets mark the other packages won't fix
for now. Otherwise everybody assumes "the other will do it".
