With global dark theme turned on (eg via gnome-tweek-tool) and a theme
that supports it (eg Adwaita or Numix), if you run gnome-logs and click
on an entry that has multiple lines it, the lines appear but are pretty
much unreadable because they are drawn in only a slightly diff

I've reinstalled Ubuntu 17.10, and the top right panel in Gnome Metacity
fails to respond after a minute or so.
The left click doesn't work, but the right click does work (although it

When trying to drag and drop a file into an open window, the file
appears to go behind the window and the mouse then becomes unresponsive
when over the main desktop; a restart is required to return to normal
use. The only way to move files at the moment it copy and paste.
Pro
The attachment "Increase maximum group name length to 32 characters"
seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from
the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the
~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

It appears that this issue is resolved simply by adjusting max_length of the
group_settings_name GtkEntry widget. Attached is a patch which increases
max_length from 16 to 32 characters. I do not know if this is only appropriate
for recent Linux distributi
