Getting this as well on 16.04, but only recently. Started happening
about 4 months ago. Mine is worse because I can open it up and start
working on it. Sometimes I'll be on it for like 10 mins before it
finally shuts me out and makes me login.

I too am affected by this bug.
It is intermittent for me, and not immediately reproducible, however I
was able to reproduce it and grab some journalctl lines via SSH if it is
at all helpful.
I should also add that I have set gnome-tweak-tool -> Power -> Suspend
when laptop lid closed -> Off
And
journalctl -f via ssh, showing opening and closing the lid while in this
"frozen" condition.

"ninja -C obj-$(DEB_HOST_GNU_TYPE)" which is the default one
ideally we would teach dh_translations to get the domain for meson

Nautilus 3.10.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 started hanging both on "Delete File"
